These features include file enclosures, which allow you to send files or the clipboard with your mail, a “talk” window for real time conferencing, return receipts to tell you when someone has read the mail you sent, security to restrict access to your mail, and a unique alert feature that allows you to “post” important but temporary messages such as: “Today’s meeting has been moved to 11:30.” (Alerts will automatically erase themselves after a user-defined time, or can be “unposted” manually when they are no longer relevant.)
You will find that Snap Mail is easy to customize. By creating “groups,” you can send mail to a number of people with one easy selection. You can design your own notification icons to send with your mail. You can design forms to simplify frequently sent messages. You can also pick which sounds will be played when you receive various types of mail.
